Welcome to my shop!

I am located in the Historic First National Bank in downtown New Prague ( my hometown)!  People are suprised that I have lived within 8 blocks of this building my entire life.

I started sewing when I was 4 on a toy sewing machine that actually sewed a straight stitch.  I made clothes and blankets for my toys as most kids do.  Then it was clothes for myself.  My first quilt was made when I was 9.  It hangs in my shop to show where I started.  

In my 50 years of quilting I have used just about every technique around. I am known for my paper pieced and scrap quilts .

I have a seating area where you can come and sew or just relax and talk.  There is a coffee shop 2 doors.

Come in for a visit when you are in the area and while you're here spend some time exploring my hometown!
